Counseling for Individuals and Couples

Respectful and nonjudgmental support through depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, and life transitions including pregnancy and new parenthood.

I offer video sessions that are conveniently and securely accessible from anywhere in California.

Perinatal Support Sessions

Sessions for individuals, couples, or families before and after a new baby joins the family to support wellbeing while preparing and planning for new parenthood. I work with clients to prevent and treat postpartum anxiety and depression, and to attend to the changing relationship dynamics and identity transformation that pregnancy and new parenthood often bring.

Individual Counseling

Sessions for individual adults who are encountering transitions, depression, anxiety, loss, or relationship distress. I collaborate with clients to deconstruct harmful belief systems and clear the way for desired transformation. We work together to identify specific actions clients can take that align with their values so they can make meaningful change in their lives.

 Frequently Asked Questions

  • I do not directly bill insurance companies for my services at this time. I can provide “superbills” or detailed receipts to clients. If a client’s insurer provides “out of network benefits,” (some insurance companies offer this and others d not) clients can submit a superbill to their insurer and get reimbursed for a large portion of their out of pocket therapy costs. This reimbursement process is between the client and their insurance company, but I am happy to discuss what I know about this process with clients.

  • I accept all major credit cards as well as FHA and HSA cards. I process payment electronically after each session through my client portal.

  • This varies greatly from client to client. I believe establishing a therapeutic relationship takes time and that slowing down is an important aspect of making space for new perspectives and change. I also believe clients should only attend therapy for as long as they find it helpful. You attend as many sessions as you like without any obligation to continue.

  • I only provide services to residents of California in compliance with my California professional license.
