I offer video sessions conveniently and securely accessible from anywhere in California.
Support for Growing Families: Sessions for New or Expectant Parents
Welcoming a new baby—whether through pregnancy, surrogacy, or adoption—is a profound and often complex life transition. It can stir up excitement, uncertainty, joy, growth, and grief as well as trigger intrusive thoughts, depression, anxiety, and OCD.
My sessions are designed to support individuals and couples as they prepare for and adjust to these changes. Whether you’re expecting your first child, expanding your family, or navigating IVF, adoption, or surrogacy, I will support you in getting relief, finding clarity, and/or making the changes you want to make.
$200/50-minute session
$300/75-minute session (for couples)
Individual Counseling
I offer individual therapy for adults navigating life’s complexities—whether you're moving through loss, wrestling with self-doubt, feeling stuck in old patterns, experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD or wanting to reflect and grow.
In our work together, we’ll explore what’s getting in your way. We'll look at the beliefs, messages, and cultural narratives that may be shaping your inner world—especially the ones that no longer fit—and identify meaningful actions you can take to make the desired change in your life.

Couples Counseling
I work with couples at any stage of their relationship to assess relationship dynamics, identify the couple’s strengths, understand and clarify the couple’s hopes for their relationship, improve communication, and strengthen connection.
When working with expecting or new parents, I collaborate with clients to clarify the couple’s values around parenthood and family, identify hopes and concerns about this new stage of their lives, and identify how partners can maintain connection during the transition.

Fee Information
I accept credit cards as well as HSA and FSA cards as payment for services at the rates listed above.
I also accept United Healthcare/Optum insurance for individual services (not for couples). Insurance only covers treatment for diagnosable mental health conditions, so we can determine together in our consultation whether the work you want to do falls into that category or not. Some other insurance companies cover my services as an “out-of-network provider,” which means that you pay the fee and then your insurance company reimburses you for a portion of my fee after you provide a receipt. Upon request, I can provide a link to a service that will allow you to check whether you have these benefits. Otherwise, I recommend that you contact your insurance company for details about this type of coverage.
If you’re looking for a provider who is in-network with other insurance companies, Psychology Today and Alma are directories that provide lists of therapists and the insurances they accept. Your insurance company also likely has a list of therapists who can bill them directly.
If you are looking for low cost services and do not want to or cannot bill insurance, I recommend Narrative Initiatives San Diego (“NISD”), which is a non-profit organization that offers low-cost therapy services to individuals, couples, and families via teletherapy throughout California.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
I am “in network” with United Healthcare/Optum. I can provide “superbills” or detailed receipts to clients who have other insurers. If a client’s insurer provides “out of network benefits,” (some insurance companies offer this and others do not) clients can submit a superbill to their insurer and get reimbursed for a large portion of their therapy costs. This reimbursement process is between the client and their insurance company, but I am happy to provide a link (upon request) clients can use to check their benefits and to discuss what I know about this process with clients.

I accept all major credit cards as well as FHA and HSA cards. I process payment electronically after each session through my client portal.

This varies greatly from client to client. I believe establishing a therapeutic relationship takes time and that slowing down is an important aspect of making space for new perspectives and change. I also believe clients should only attend therapy for as long as they find it helpful. You attend as many sessions as you like without any obligation to continue.

I only provide therapy services to residents of California in compliance with my California professional license.
